In the time between electronically receiving the artwork/ wording and the actual fabrication of the printing plates, our team of design and printing experts will work hand in hand with you to ensure quality prepress work. Dry offset printing is the industry’s standard type of indirect printing, used to apply your design onto a preformed tube with up to eight colours. The offset process is recommended for white or light colored sidewalls.

Creating an image is Plastube's specialty. We use four color process printing and rigorous technique to produce perfect artwork and real life images for pharmaceutical, industrial and cosmetic packaging. Using the four colour printing process with up to four additional Pantone colours, we reproduce an image using the entire spectrum of colours to thoroughly match your original artwork.

For rich graphics and enhanced colour contrast our customers select silk screen printing in up to 5 colours. Screen print uses a thicker layer of ink, improving the ink opacity on a natural, translucent colour or coloured sidewalls of cosmetic tube packaging.

For high end cosmetic packaging, hot stamping can be used to apply a shiny gold or silver foil to a tube, for a very luxurious finish to the package. Hot stamping is a thermal transfer technique for extremely fine gold, silver, colored or holographic foils.
